When you call PERL Electrical after hours your call will be answered by a person in our NZ call centre.\u00a0 They are not an Electrician but are there to get you connected to one as soon as possible.<\/p>\n
They will take your personal details and provide you with our details including our charges & after-hours fees so we can best help you out in a time of your electrical emergency.<\/p>\n
They will then quickly arrange our Emergency Electrician to contact you directly.<\/p>\n
If our Emergency Electrician is already attending to another customers plumbing emergency there may be a slight delay, however depending on what they are doing & your location your Emergency Electrician should be able to get to you within about 30 minutes.<\/p>\n
The Emergency Electrician carries a good range of parts in their van but on occasions depending on the issue cannot always guarantee that they will have all the correct parts needed to fully sort your electrical issue.\u00a0 Assuming all parts are available they will rectify your issue immediately with as minimum interruption as possible.<\/p>\n
However, if they don’t have the right parts, they will do their very best (possibly isolating the electrical problem or switching your electricity or isolate a circuit for the night, or maybe just making a temporary repair) depending on the situation.<\/p>\n
If this occurs the Emergency Electrician will inform you in order to arrange for a return the next normal working day & in normal working hours to make a full repair or replacement.<\/p>\n
