How We Work

DEPOSITS

A 50% deposit is required for all projects over $500 (if requested).

LEAVING THE WORK SITE

Our skilled PERL Electricians are trained to leave each worksite clean & as safe as possible. We take care to remove any waste created during the project, unless otherwise directed. Additionally, we make sure to eliminate any hazards introduced by the job.

Our work vehicles are equipped with most of the parts & fittings we commonly use, helping us save time & reduce costs for our clients. If we need a special part that isn’t stocked in the van, we will visit our supply merchants & any extra costs will be added to the job.

PAYMENT

For clients without accounts, payment is due upon receipt of your invoice after job completion. Payments can be made via cash, credit card, debit card, or bank transfer. Note that credit card & debit card payments will incur an additional processing fee of 2.5%.

Once the job is completed or paused, we will send an invoice reflecting the work completed up to that point. We aim to provide clear, concise invoices that accurately represent the services rendered. Should you have any questions or concerns about the invoicing process, our team is always here to assist.

At PERL Electrical West Auckland, transparency is key. We work to ensure the payment process is as simple & convenient as possible for you. Your timely payment is appreciated& we’re here to help with any payment-related inquiries.

PROGRESS PAYMENTS

For certain projects, we may send progress invoices before completion. These cover the costs of labour & materials used up to that stage. We typically issue progress invoices at the end of each phase of the project, such as underground mains installation, prewiring, fitting off& final inspection. Invoices reflect the work completed & the costs incurred so far.

Progress invoices may also be sent if there are delays in the project. Please be aware that we reserve the right to halt work if progress payments are not received. This ensures that both parties meet their financial commitments & helps us maintain a sustainable business model.

We value communication & will work with you to resolve any concerns you may have about progress invoicing. Clear collaboration is important to us & we appreciate your understanding as progress payments contribute to the quality & efficiency of our work.
