We will never surprise you with unexpected bills

Standard rates

$150 plus GST for the first hour and $85 per hour for all subsequent hours.

$35 - $45 - $55 + GST an hour per year of apprentice electrician (depending how far through their apprenticeship they are or how competent they are at the task they are doing). Quite often it is cheaper for you to have a tradesman and “apprentice” as they can achieve more in a quicker time).

After hours

(Anytime outside our normal operating hours)

$180 + GST for callout (including the first hour) per person

$85 + GST every hour after that per person

Public holiday

$400 + GST for callout (including the first hour) per person

$150 + GST every hour after that per person

Travel charge

$10.50 + GST for the general Kumeu area

$1.00 + GST per KM outside of this area

HAZARDOUS AREAS

$145 + GST per hour for Hazardous Area Callout

 

SITE TO SITE CHARGES

Please note that as per industry standards PERL Electrical Kumeu charges from site to site when calculating travel time and mileage

Additional Charges

Electrical Certificate Variable $30 -$50 depending on the complexity of the job

ELECTRICAL INSPECTION

$320 + GST –

This report is intended for reporting on the condition of an existing electrical installation and is visual only.

It covers:

  • General visual condition of all electrics
  • Incoming and internal mains
  • Main earth
  • Meter Box
  • Switchboard
  • Internal wiring
  • Oven/Hob
  • Plug sockets & light switches.
