How We Work
HOW WE WORK AT PERL ELECTRICAL & HVAC TAUPO - TURANGI
Nobody likes surprises from their electrician - that's why PERL Electrical & HVAC Taupo - Turangi works hard to avoid them. Before any work begins, we talk through every project detail with you, covering timing, likely costs (planned and unplanned) and the outcome you're after. Our aim is to make the whole process as easy as possible for you. We focus on what matters most to you - reliable callout windows, digital job tracking, top-quality protective gear and old-fashioned respect for your home whenever we're on site.
How We Work
DEPOSITS
A 50% deposit is required for all projects over $500 (where requested).
LEAVING THE WORK SITE
Our PERL electricians are trained to leave every site clean and as safe as possible. We clear away any waste generated by the job, unless told otherwise, and make sure to eliminate any hazards the work may have introduced. Our vehicles carry most of the parts and fittings we regularly use, which helps save time and cost for clients. If a job calls for a special part we don't carry, we'll pick it up from our supply merchants, and any extra cost gets added to the invoice.
PAYMENT
For clients without an account, payment is due upon receiving your invoice after the job's complete. We accept cash, credit card, debit card or bank transfer, though card payments carry an additional 2.5% processing fee. Once a job is finished or paused, we'll send through an invoice covering the work completed to that point. We aim to keep invoices clear and easy to follow, and our team is always available if you have questions about anything on there. At PERL Electrical & HVAC Taupo - Turangi, we believe in keeping things transparent. We work to make the payment process as simple and convenient as possible, and we appreciate timely payment - we're also happy to help with any payment questions along the way.
PROGRESS PAYMENTS
For larger projects, we may issue progress invoices before the job wraps up, covering labour and materials used to that stage. These are typically sent at the end of each project phase - underground mains, prewiring, fit-off and final inspection, for example - reflecting the work done and costs incurred so far. Progress invoices may also go out if a project experiences delays. Please note we reserve the right to pause work if progress payments aren't received, which helps both parties stay on top of their commitments and keeps our business running sustainably. We value open communication and will work with you on any concerns around progress invoicing. Clear collaboration matters to us, and we appreciate your understanding - progress payments help us maintain the quality and efficiency of our work.
