Who is PERL Electrical?
Operating in the Auckland Region for over 10 years, PERL Electrical Waitakere & Upper Harbour have a deep knowledge of the local environment and community and as one of the foundation members of the PERL Group have firmly established themselves as the go-to when it comes to electrical needs in:

PERL – Our Story
In 2009 Navi made the courageous decision to immigrate from Punjab in Northern India to New Zealand to study as a student. Since then Auckland NZ has been home.
In this time he has achieved several things including obtaining a Diploma of Business, electrical engineering followed by undertaking an electrical apprenticeship before qualifying as a Registered New Zealand Electrical Contractor. In 2021 he married Jaspreet and together they have purchased their first house in Massey, West Auckland.
When not on the tools Navi (and Jas) love to exercise including gym work and hiking. Navi loves to travel and loves the excitement of meeting new people and visiting new places.
His current set of skills include repairs & fault finding, residential new builds & renovations, commercial shop fit outs, show rooms and warehouses. He is skilled at switchboard upgrades, heat pump installation and LED lighting upgrades. He is currently developing his solar skills in conjunction with his fellow members of PERL Electrical.
His wife Jaspreet works in retail within central Auckland. Prior to arriving in New Zealand Jas was living and working in Singapore for Singapore Airlines as an air stewardess. She has travelled extensively throughout the world and although she calls New Zealand home she still enjoys travelling and visiting new places and people.

Navi Chauhan
Navi is our Director, Registered Electrician and Owner. He has been a certified electrician since 2019, and at PERL Electrical Waitakere and Upper Harbour since it was borne in 2022. While Navi manages the day to day running of PERL Electrical Waitakere and Upper Harbour, he loves to spend most of his time out in the field and working alongside his team and customers.
