Milestone：

1981 – 1997：Lived in Taiwan

1997：Arrived to Wellington and studied high school, and granted ‘A’ bursary

2010：Graduated from Electrical and Electronics Engineering in University of Canterbury

2012 – 2015：Worked as an electrical engineer specialising in industrial process automation in Brisbane, Australia

2015 – Present：Electrician working in commercial, residential, and industrial

Hi, my name is Ivan Sun. I come from Taiwan. I came to NZ in 1997, and I’ve spent half of my life here. I have studied, worked, married, and am a father of two kids . I am currently a registered electrician for PERL Electrical Christchurch Northwest. Before this I was also running my own electrical business for almost a decade.

While I was growing my business, I have also participated in quite a few of large commercial projects around Christchurch CBD and worked as a contractor. These include the Ministry of Justice, Convention Centre, University of Canterbury, METRO, etc. From here I got involved of HVAC machinery wiring, general electrical, central swichboards, LED lighting upgrades,cable tray etc.

Additionally, while I was having the services work for Christchurch Airport, my refrigeration skills enabled me to effectively diagnose the issues of refrigerator, heat pump, and chillers. I am confident that my passion for my work and dedication to excellence will make me a valuable asset to my customers.

As a highly motivated and results-oriented professional, I am eager to contribute my skills and experience to value my customers. Throughout my career, I have developed a reputation for being a problem-solver and effective job management, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure.

Until now, there're still lots of journeys to experience, and we are eager to win, in the meanwhile, the more skillsets we have, we are able to provide more comprehensive electrical services to our clients and make their life in convenience.
