After–Hours Rates

NORMAL OFFICE HOURS (minimum charge includes Van & Mileage & first half an hour onsite)

Monday to Friday 7am – 5pm

AFTER HOURS (Anytime outside our normal office hours and all-day Saturday and Sunday)

$140 + GST an hour per person

PUBLIC HOLIDAY

$400 + GST per person for the first hour

$150 + GST every hour after that per person

TRAVEL CHARGE

$10.50 + GST for the general Hibiscus Coast and Dairy Flat area

$1.10 + GST per KM outside of this area

 

PLEASE NOTE:  Customers will be charged for after-hours call out rates in addition to all revisit rates if this is required to complete the job the next day.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM A PERL ELECTRICAL HIBISCUS AFTER-HOURS ELECTRICIAN?

When you call PERL Electrical Hibiscus after hours your call will be answered by the on-call Emergency Electrician at PERL Electrical Hibiscus or if this person is already attending an afterhours job will be transferred to a person in our NZ call centre.

The call centre colleague is not an electrician, but they are there to get you connected to an available emergency electrician as soon as possible.

They will take your personal details and provide you with our details including our charges and after-hours fees so we can best help you out in a time of your electrical emergency.

They will then quickly arrange our Emergency Electrician to contact you directly.

If our Emergency Electrician is already attending to another customers electrical emergency there may be a slight delay, however depending on what they are doing and your location your Emergency Electrician should be able to get to you within about 30 minutes.

The Emergency Electrician carries a good range of parts in their van but on occasions depending on the issue cannot always guarantee that they will have all the correct parts needed to fully sort your electrical issue.  Assuming all parts are available they will rectify your issue immediately with as minimum interruption as possible.

However, if they don’t have the right parts, they will do their very best (possibly isolating the electrical problem or switching your electricity or isolate a circuit for the night, or maybe just making a temporary repair) depending on the situation.

If this occurs the Emergency Electrician will inform you to arrange for a return the next normal working day and in normal working hours to make a full repair or replacement.

PERL Electrical Hibiscus have a great process in place for handling our after-hours calls to ensure that even during after-hours times our customers still get fantastic service from our Emergency PERL Electricians.
