Standard rates

Variable depending on experience & skill between

$120.00 plus GST Standard Call Out Fee (including the first hour) per person

$85.00 + GST an hour per fully registered electrician after the first hour

$35 - $45 - $55 + GST an hour per year of apprentice electrician (depending how far through their apprenticeship they are or how competent they are at the task they are doing). 

Quite often it is cheaper for you to have a tradesman & “apprentice” as they can achieve more in a quicker time).

After hours

$180.00 + GST for Call Out (including the first hour) per person

$85.00 + GST for every hour after that per person

PUBLIC HOLIDAY & EMERGENCY

$240.00 + GST for callout (including the first hour) per person

$85.00 + GST for every hour after that per person

Travel charge

$10.50 + GST for the general North Shore area

$20.50 + GST for Whangaparaoa, Orewa, Auckland South, Auckland West, Auckland East

$1.00 + GST per KM outside of this area

SITE TO SITE CHARGES

Please note that as per industry standards PERL Electrical charges from site to site when calculating travel time & mileage

Additional Charges

Electrical Certificate Variable $30-$50 depending on job complexity

REGISTERED ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR SERVICES

ROI - $180 for the first hour and $85 every hour after that (Inspection of high-risk work) Inspection of other electrician work

COV - $250 and $85 every hour after that dependent on Section 3/4/5 of AS/NZS 3019/2022 (Certificate of verification) Generally done if power has been disconnected for more than 6 months, can also be done to verify the safety of an installation. Marketed at new homeowners & rental market

EWOF - $180 (Electrical warrant of fitness) Caravans and other transportable structures
