$80.00 + GST for every hour after that per person
TRAVEL CHARGE
$10.50 + GST for the general South Auckland area
$20.50 + GST for North Shore, West Auckland
$1.00 + GST per KM outside of this area

Customers will be charged for after-hours call out rates in addition to all revisit rates if this is required to complete the job the next day.
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM A PERL ELECTRICAL PAPAKURA AFTER-HOURS ELECTRICIAN?
At PERL Electrical Papakura, we have a well-organised process in place to handle after-hours calls and ensure that our customers receive prompt and reliable service from our emergency electricians. When you contact us after hours, here's what you can expect:
- Your call will be answered either by the on-call Emergency Electrician at PERL Electrical or by a colleague in our NZ PERL Call Centre if the on-call electrician is already attending another after-hours job.
- The call centre colleague is not an electrician, but their role is to connect you with an available emergency electrician as quickly as possible. They will gather your personal details and provide you with our contact information, including our charges and after-hours fees.
- The call centre colleague will then arrange for the emergency electrician to contact you directly. If the electrician is already attending another emergency, there may be a slight delay. However, depending on the situation and your location, the electrician should be able to reach you within approximately 30-60 minutes.
- The emergency electrician carries a range of parts in their van, but there may be instances where they don't have all the necessary parts to fully resolve your electrical issue. In such cases, they will do their best to address the situation, which may involve isolating the problem, switching off your electricity, or making a temporary repair, depending on the circumstances.
- If the necessary parts are not available, the electrician will inform you and make arrangements to return during normal working hours to complete the full repair or replacement.
