With the challenge of both provision of manufacturing in both Matamata and Christchurch and subsequent serving and maintenance of both rental and sold units throughout the North and South Islands PERL Group were engaged to provide a national solution that created consistency and sustainability in delivery of materials, servicing and maintenance without increasing costs but by enhancing Portabuilds offer.

As a national network of local electrical contractors PERL Group Central Services is very experienced in national installation work and well set up through one point of contact to meet all the requirements this company needs.  Our seamless workflow systems through to advanced reporting capabilities and systems allowing job visibility in real time, has made a huge difference to our customers ability to meet their KPIs and satisfy their customers needs.

THE RESULTS

PERL Group were able to provide a full national construction and service solution for both plumbing and electrical materials through the use of its PERL member network and our extensive supply partners.  PERL Group Central Services was able to consolidate subcontractors, provide consistent national pricing, source and renegotiate materials and installation saving 10% of previous costs and through its supplier base improve DIFOTIS resulting in a the elimination of unplanned downtime.  This has allowed Portabuild to focus on its core strengths of design, manufacturing, sales and marketing allowing PERL to mage subtrades, distribution, materials supply and sourcing.  In collaborating with PERL Electrical and PERL Plumbing Portabuild has not only improved and updated electrical and plumbing offers to meet modern needs including off grid, solar and EV chargers, modern lighting and switchgear, stylish plumbing kitchen, bathroom and laundry solutions PERL now supports Portabuild through the sales process by consulting to Portabuilds clients as a partner.
