All of our chargers come with built-in solar diversion, allowing you to charge your EV using solar energy unused by your home — instead of diverting it back to the grid.

During peak periods, such as evenings with all of the family home, dinner in the oven, and the heat pump on, your energy usage may exceed your home’s capacity. The E2 will automatically adjust and lower your charge rate, avoiding power supply overload.

What Next? Give one of our PERL Electricians a call. They will arrange a time to visit your home, assess its current electricity use and excess capacity (if any) to work out whether your electricity supply needs to be upgraded. This will depend on a range of factors, including whether you’ve already got three phase power (some home workshop owners will have this) and whether you’re looking to charge a small car or a larger SUV. We’ll also discuss the best place to locate your charger unit, indoors or outdoors. Based on all that, we’ll supply you with a comprehensive non obligation quote, then manage every step of your installation right up to the moment you plug in your new EV.

Installation means:

The installation which includes:

Install of the indoor unit on a suitable wall with an appropriate existing power supply. Additional costs will be incurred where the electrical supply requires upgrading, access is restricted or / and where external walls are brick or block.
Either a 5 metre or 8 metre charger cable option with associated pricing

No limits for purchases for a single home installation. Stock availability is dependent on availability. Full payment is required within 7 days of installation.

Pricing commences on 1st December 2024 until further notice.
